In addition, your data will only be processed in third countries if certain measures ensure that an appropriate level of data protection exists (e.g. adequacy decision of the EU Commission or so-called suitable guarantees, Art. 44ff. DSGVO).
6. What data is collected, how is it used and for how long is it stored?
(a) Technical characteristics:When you visit our websites, the web server temporarily registers the domain name or IP address of your computer, the client's file request (file name and URL), the http response code and the website from which you are visiting us. The logged data is used exclusively for data security purposes, in particular to prevent attempts to attack our web server (Art. 6 Par. 1 f DSGVO). They are neither used for the creation of individual user profiles nor passed on to third parties and are deleted after 7 days at the latest. We reserve the right to statistically evaluate anonymous data records.
(b) Registration and sign in, project coordination and approval, exchange of knowledge between users:BRAND DIALOG centrally stores all important statuses and budget information for individual marketing projects, as well as relevant documents (briefings, concepts, advertising material...) or contact data of Telekom employees and participating external agencies or trading partners.
An easy-to-use web interface makes the latest versions of information available to registered users of Deutsche Telekom websites, participating agencies and service providers.
From planning and implementation to the evaluation of marketing activities, all important work steps are supported by integrated workflow and document management.
A key aspect here is the review and approval of marketing concepts and advertising materials developed by national telecom companies (Natco) or trading partners. These are uploaded to BRAND DIALOG by the national telecom companies or trading partners. DTAG Group Brand Management (GBM) checks the submitted files for conformity with the brand strategy and corporate design. Based on this review, the document will be released - or otherwise annotated/changed and returned to the submitters for revision.
Against this background, the use of personal data supports the smooth cooperation between marketing management teams. For the persons involved, it is always necessary to see which user has submitted a certain document for approval, which user checked, and if necessary, approved this document. In this context, the name, company, e-mail address and telephone number of the respective user is displayed.
Furthermore, the time of project or document release is automatically recorded and displayed in the web application to ensure complete documentation and traceability of the release process.
All stored project information and documents can be viewed, edited or released online directly through the web browser. An integrated role-based rights management regulates the responsibilities and access rights of the individual users.
In addition to efficient cooperation of management of marketing and sales activities, the online platform also supports the exchange of knowledge between the various user groups: search and sharing functions provide a quick overview of current and past marketing and sales activities.
In addition, an online editorial team uses a content management system to provide knowledge articles, work templates (checklists, forms, etc.) and best-practice examples that can be accessed and commented by users. A so-called "Q&A Forum" also offers users the opportunity to ask technical questions, which in turn are answered by other users of the platform - in this way, the cross-divisional and international exchange of knowledge between users is additionally supported.
In this context, the following personal data is collected and used.
